Fund raising for Italian Universities

Data: December 20, 2006

Hello everyone,
you point out this article on fund raising in Italian universities. It 'interesting, because in my work I also deal with fund raising for the university, the end of the article is my view on the "health" of fundraising in Italian universities (especially public ones).

What a pleasure to hear about fund raising in academia.
    Two considerations.
We talk about fund raising, but donations are contemplated billions from banks or private companies, and it comes to citing "events to raise funds." I am sad.
Towards the end of the story is about a married couple and their donation, the second University of Rome, for 80 million euros.

Another thought: do we compete on quality, not on the figure to reach.
"The bad money drives out good" or you lose sight of the goal for which you collect money in exchange for a Guinness.
    Let's talk about quality!

    Dear James,

    Finally he speaks!
I think this is a big step forward.
At last, the universities 'Italian speaking of FR, FR, and try to get closer to understand what'.
I think so, somewhere you gotta go!
I go back to Italy almost!

I'm trying to find my way in this field, I must say that in reality beautiful (almost exclusively in the north east) and unfortunately very amateurish something moves. Hello!
