The other night, after the inauguration of the fifth edition of the Master in fund raising, I tried to explain to the many speakers, because I feel so important to nonprofit organizations.
To explain, I tried to tell my life, but many think could be in the same situation. My story I wanted to call "Many do not realize how incredibly important to nonprofit organizations for the life of any Italian citizen." See if your life stories intersect with the nonprofit like mine and put them in blog comments. It will be nice to share?
Here's mine:
- I was born in a non-profit private hospital (a nonprofit organization)
- I was baptized in the church of Bussecchio (nonprofit organization)
- I did primary school in a school free (nonprofit organization)
- I spent part of my free time in the parish (nonprofit organization)
- I did gymnastics in the afternoon ivy (nonprofit organization)
- I went biking in Strong and Free (a non-profit cycling team)
- My first job was to Confcommercio (nonprofit organization)
- I then received a scholarship from the CEUR Foundation (nonprofit organization)
- and I could attend an American university, New York University (nonprofit organization).
- I met my wife during a party organized by a nonprofit organization
- this organization was presented to me by a priest (or one person who works for a nonprofit organization)
- I got married in church (nonprofit organization)
- my savings are managed by an asset management company owned in part by a nonprofit organization,
- my pension funds are managed by a private nonprofit mutual (nonprofit organization)
- my children go to a kindergarten run by a nonprofit organization,
- exercising and playing music at a nonprofit organization
- gift of my savings to nonprofit organizations,
- my pension will probably be paid by a nonprofit organization,
- The Rest Home Zangheri Forlì, where my children could get when I am old (hopefully not!) should be subject misappropriations by some public body, still a nonprofit organization.
Finally, my grave will be in a cemetery maintained by a nonprofit organization.
Remember to do all this takes money, which is why we need the fund raising. It 'really true: "The fundraising is the servant of the nonprofit. (VM)
