Some photos of some of my wonderful students of class I half of 2007 the university course "Fundraising" at the Faculty of Economics of Forlì, Degree in Economics and Business Cooperatives Nonprofit Organizations. A course that ends today, a course of 50 hours, enriched by the inquisitive minds of these students. Thank you very great attention and care with which you have followed this course, and I apologize if sometimes I got a little 'late ... .. I ask you one last task before the holidays. Here it is.

Each student, after being identified (they are one in the front row with the blue sweater ..., etc.) respond briefly to the questions: "What is fund raising for you? What I learned from the course? What I liked more, or less? "Each response will be an enrichment for everyone!

Thanks and best wishes! (VM)

Ps I gladly accept, criticism and suggestions. There 'always something to learn (and will not affect the examination! Not worry!)

Although belonging to the class last year, now, studied his subject, I can give a personal definition.

It 'a matter different from any other economy in its aim, ideal, since it appears as the last outpost of the social order to which the market would tend gaze. What I can say about it is that the fund-raising seems like having a mission philosophy: Do not look for money to accumulate wealth, but to accumulate values.

Starting from a quote attributed to Socrates: "Practicing good is a bargain. If the man seeks is not only because he has no idea where he is good. Therefore it is not bad but ignorant ", I can deduce that this is precisely the time when the fund raiser should intervene seeing the horizon economic opportunities that the market can not see, becoming a collector of ethics.

Hello Prof. Melandri, are the "nice lady" of 2 ^ row. His lectures were truly "UNIQUE". I would say the dominant message about the importance of building relationships that offer opportunistic exchange of values, through fundraising. So, first of all, focus on ourselves by asking the following questions:
    * As we believe in the organization?
    * As we believe in the good cause?
    * As we believe in the methodology that we intend to use? etc.etc.
Only by ns. sincere conviction we take a common path for engaging donors, from food, to renew in time, because a report is not "spot" but the long term. It 'a little' the "recipe" universal for any interpersonal relationship you intend to keep long: we need commitment, enthusiasm, passion, openness, but also a great willingness to listen and debate. I will stop here .... not to bore you, and then also because ... .. overcook the pasta is !!!!!
Thanks for everything, I reciprocate the good wishes and see you soon!!

The fund raising? since I started his course is a question I often ask (and I also ask myself). And my answer is to understand that it is a simple Italian-style fundraiser.
But there is so much Italian. There is the friendship / sympathy with the big donors, we Italians are so good ...
There are the usual events in which we are famous as the square of Romagna ...

Difficult, however, is the work on the maintenance of contacts ... the calculation of donations .... The Fundraiser is not a standard economist!
Thank you for your lessons, because they are different from "normal" and have great room for free information on the subject!

Hi Prof, I'm Simon and I am the last in fodo left with the gray sweatshirt, which also coincidentally is also the port that oggi.Di next to me I have the Tutor of the course that day destroyed impersonating the agent Ms. Swansong ... (say no more).
I wanted to answer the question this way:
For me, the Fund Raising is a great opportunity.
Growth opportunities, both professionally and in terms of growth of the Third Sector, knows an opportunity to exploit and try to promote as much as possible.
The lessons were very interesting because strictly explicable by the outside world and she really knows how to do.

Ps You have taught us that the ps is therefore important that you write here is my prof Tutor training, very likely that before long I'll need your help ... Thanks Simon
