What we learn from history will say many, but what we found in 2 years of research and which is contained in the book "The fundraising Italian: history and prospects" is perhaps not surprising.
I often hear colleagues say, and rightly so, that there is a culture of fundraising, the nonprofit organizations in the donors in the book but we found that this culture techniques, the ability to raise funds were well established in Italy in past (even in the Middle Ages!), it seems that at some point the memory of "how to do fundraising" has been cleared and now we're here, we fundraisers, to rebuild it.
I must say a good book, written in 6 hands, and edited by me and Prof. Farolfi. Congratulations to the research team and for you readers can buy it here (also in these days of IBS.it is also 15% discount)
