Valerio Melandri-The first Italian blog on fundraising

Thank you all and see you at the Festival of 2009

Data: May 12, 2008

The festival seems to have gone well (why they say the comments of several speakers and bloggers attending the Festival), see here, here, here and here).
I would like to thank the volunteers of the Festival Organizing Committee Fund Raising: Adele Guardigli (coordinator of the secretariat of the Festival), Mariassunta Abbagnara (responsible for relations with the speakers), Marian freezes Cappiello (responsible for relations with the participants), Mauro Picciaiola (research sponsors and Press), Elisa Bridges (head of technical material and salt sessions), Vittorio Manduchi (graphic, web-editor) and Francesco Santini (web-masters, web-editor).
I also thank the speakers who have shared with other participants their experiences fundraiser. To all a good-bye at the Festival Fund Raising 2009!

I leave you with videos and pictures of this first edition and find below a series of thanks that I received via email. [

Dear Valerio, I still want to congratulate all of you for the wonderful event that you organized, well planned and very interesting for everyone. Shame we could not attend all the sessions because each deserved. To you though, and I say sincerely, the
great merit of being able to combine say all the important reality of fund raising. Talented kids who are suddenly organizers to which, however, I expressed my congratulations in person. Beautiful frame! Enough, I think I expressed very clearly what
this event has given me. Thank you again for everything. I hope to see you soon
Affectionately

Dearest Valerio
suppose you'll be getting floods of messages, acknowledgments, feedback varied.
I do my part, then, because I care: thanks Valerio, my heart! Quite right Francis (Santini), it was a piece of Italian history of fundraising and I can say with satisfaction that there was too. Enclose a small "correspondence" between me and Raphael Piccilli today, hoping to go to finish among all the other pieces of gratitude and satisfaction that collection after the Festival.
One of the best memories? Your figure, from behind, which leaves the path lined and full of
Sun Hotel, amid the applause of your faithful, on Saturday afternoon.
Strong! Good work, therefore, enjoy the rest and thanks from a small work ant non-profit.

Dear great leader Valerio!
Congratulations again for the very successful first edition of the Festival! I know the complexity of these events, the increased complexity of the "first time" and the delicacy of the fact that
This deadline was also an important showcase of image. Forlì is increasingly capital fund raising! I leave you to extend to Adele, Mariassunta, Mariangela, Elisa, Mauro, Vittorio .. and the other supporters, thanks for the detailed information and the help we were able to give to the speakers and the congratulations for the work done.

Dear prof. Melandri
I wanted to thank you for the beautiful experience of the Festival of fund raising. E 'was truly a
important opportunity for those who work or "dream" to work in this area. It was an opportunity for personal growth and professional not indifferent, at least for me, but I think also for others with whom I had the opportunity to speak. The seminars held by all people who are really smart, exchange of experiences that has been done. Truly a beautiful experience that I hope to repeat next year, perhaps even actively giving you a hand. Are available in case you need a hand.
As I mentioned I still have to finish my studies at Forli which was a bit 'ups and downs especially in the last two years because I was engaged in work in Rome in an organization where I was rewarded with an expense and that while all, despite the many difficulties encountered, I loved and love so much and I hope to return. Managers have told me that I expect but who knows ... but now I do not think because I took another important decision. Since September I went back to Forli to complete your course of studies in the hope of later attended
the master. I miss six more exams to complete everything and I do not know if I can for the date of expiry of registration to the master. I read in other regulations master that there is also the possibility to register within two months of the start of classes for those who must graduate. There's this
opportunity for a Master degree in fund raising?
I hope, beyond Rome, but also to create something in my Puglia in the south or at least there is no way of knowing distribution of a fund raiser or those who claim to own or of those working in non-profit throughout the national territory? How many fund raiser who do it professionally or even agencies that provide services to non-profits for fund raising in particular?
I do not want to steal any more time.
Thanks again and congratulations to you and the whole team who worked for the festival.
Waiting to meet or resentment, I cordially greet
Nicla

Dear Valerio, I want to congratulate you again for the excellent success of the initiative, which was very interesting, and well organized, both in content and as a forum for exchange and confrontation training.
I do not know if I evaluate a good thing, but I left the conference with a great desire to go to work for a truly great non-profit organization, why do I realize the FR in the entity public is very simplistic and tiresome.
Unfortunately, I realize that the big NGOs have their headquarters in big cities and I do not have much opportunity to move, at least until my son grows older. But ... never say never!
I just hope, if you repeat the event next year as well, to be able to bring some of my business manager, would be very useful because they knew the work that needs to be done and the potential that we can not use unless we understand the need to invest in human resources.
I also thought that we could organize a workshop here in my company. What do you think? You come with someone to share some 'of things? We talk about? Also be programmed for late 2008 or 2009 if you're too busy!
I look "forward" the password to see the work of the conference.
See you soon, good job. Elizabeth

Dear Valerio
I would like to thank you again for organizing this festival.
For me it was a precious moment of training, but also an encouragement to continue along this road, which at this moment I feel very difficult and tiring.
Castrocaro by three days are back with a new energy, and especially with a little 'more confidence in what I can do good for our school, thank you very much!
soon, Susanna

    Dear Valerio
that is, that you can not join the chorus: Thank you.
Thank you for meeting and for having made it, at least in my case, was able to combine faces and gestures to names.
Unfortunately, so many things to feel and little time has meant that have not been able to hear and know many colleagues, will be for next year.
Thanks also for having shown what they can do the volunteers: very good, all organized and managed very well.
Finally, thanks for inviting me as rapporteur.
A hug and see you soon, maybe even before Castrocaro 2009.

But congratulations are not just to the organizational part (there are the merits of the committee) and for not being able to turn the event into the festival Valerio Melandri, but in the festival of fund raising.

    Dearest Prof. Melandri,
I add myself to the chorus of congratulations for the success of the FFR. I must say, are honest, initially, when he launched the idea of the festival, I was a bit 'skeptical. As rightly said the excellent Palmas, there was a risk that would become the "Festival of Valerio Melandri, however this did not happen, I began to change my mind when I saw the website with the first list of speakers and then I lived on my skin. WELL DONE! Everyone, including and especially the volunteers and here I speak in particular to my former comrades of the Master. The most popular has been (and I am not the only one who thinks so) the opportunity to meet players and professionals of this beautiful world of fundraising, or if you want the nonprofit in general. Also interesting are the training sessions, maybe I would have preferred less staff but more lessons repeated. Oh well, we'll make up with the slides that I am waiting impatiently.
Thank you again for this experience and a wish to start this edition with a long cycle of meetings.
    See you soon! LV
