A few weeks ago about an initiative that was presenting ASVI, I received a press release by Marco Crescenzi ASVI President, I have put aside because I shared it in full, now a few days before the start of the Festival, the carryover in part. Here it is:
"Given this scenario, the gravity of which has its roots in the lack of structural policies oriented to the future and invest in young people - says Marco Crescenzi President ASVI - the Third Sector is going against being over 10 years certified as the most European labor market region up. In Italy, employment in the sector has doubled in 10 years, rising to over one million paid workers. Job quality, educated, three quarters of women and 80% under 40 years. The worrying thing for us - Crescenzi continues - but the difficulty is to find professionals such as fundraisers, for which demand greatly exceeds supply, and qualified young people in general and managerial propensities. The responsibility, serious-Crescenzi concludes - is also the media, c h and represent the industry as 'voluntary' through stories, often cloying, a goody-goody and solidarity, rather than talent, career, social enterprise and ethics. Responsibility of the sector is however, not yet able to make a clear communication and attractiveness for young talents. Italy for population decline has lost 40% of young 19 year old ... we are losing what to whom to entrust the future. "
The Fundraising Festival which opens next week (and has done an amazing sold out at an altitude of 600!) Will also deal with this, not only spas, appetizers and training, netowrking, training and best practices BUT lobby, pressure political, attachment to reality in defense of this incredibly rich (... values ...) third sector. A Castrocaro then!
