Thoughts for the coming Christmas

Data: December 15, 2011

When a non-profit claims to donate 100% to the cause, obviously is not including the costs, or donations of goods and services used. In Life Magazine December 16 do some examples to clarify some ideas, since Christmas is coming, and with it the many slogans "100%"!

Even the fundraising needs of a saint! How about Saint Nicholas? Do not remember the figure of the fundraiser? My proposal in Life Magazine December 23.

Write to the donor

Data: November 24, 2011

What are the mistakes to avoid when writing texts in fundraising? We present here a brief list of the most common that I have come across, hoping you may find it useful, and draw some inspiration. My "FunDream" Life Magazine on November 25.

Direct marketing is in decline? In my article published in Life Magazine No 47 came out today, I argue that this tool will never die, and indeed, in the current economic situation, find a new momentum thanks to improved reliability and flexibility to ensure that people using it. And you, what do you think?

The nonprofit needs numbers! Two examples.

Data: November 10, 2011

There is a limit beyond which solicit a donation may be useless or even harmful? Sordiglioni, the foundation responsible for fundraising Grisons, and argues that there is, data in hand, indicates the third as the last submission, prior to recording a dramatic decrease of the responses of donors and potential economic loss. I shared this interesting analysis of the Life Magazine October 14.

The last census of non-profit organizations in Italy dates back to 1999. And comparing the data collected on donations, it turns out that these do not coincide, and many more. As you can plan campaigns and strategies, when you do not have updated information for twelve years? Because the Agency of the third sector does not proceed to a new survey? And who knows if it will respond to my application ...! My article in Life Magazine November 18.

Do not forget about the marketing!

Data: November 2, 2011

Every day, we come across the advertisement of this or that commodity. Rarely, however, our attention is drawn to the most important issues. Realize it when we go to the supermarket: there is no trace of or almost non profit companies. The difference lies in marketing and reality as that of London, which I quote in the article, they understand that investing is the right way to ensure the visibility of the nonprofit. Here is my speech on Life Magazine October 21.

Speaking of marketing in the nonprofit evokes, for many, tragic images: betrayal of donors, inefficiency and waste of resources that could be used directly to help those in need. Nothing could be more wrong, because in this way the non-profit is no fundamental ways of fundraising, the ones that are used with success by the profit companies for their advertising. The non-profit organizations must invest in marketing, therefore, as I explain in Life Magazine of November 4.

Recognizing the fundraiser and philanthropist quality

Data: September 28, 2011

The fundraiser, in his daily work, should build on the Figaro, the Barber of Seville! Take a look at the curious analogy in my article published in Life Magazine July 29.

You can do good to others, to contribute to solving social problems, and do not appear in the list of big donors. Steve Jobs, in this sense, is a good example: think about the social benefits arising from the use of its Ipad in the medical field, or less than the amount of paper that is printed every day, and its many uses in many fields. Not only are the donations, then, that makes a man a great philanthropist. This in my opinion of Life Magazine September 30, which incorporates the idea of Dan Pallotta and his blog.

The fundraising is limitless!

Data: August 28, 2011

A marketing man tells me that envies the non-profit sector, because here, with a good social cause to defend, you can sell at any price, you can ask and ask again, but this is not possible the profit, where no one never buy a mop over 18, $ 50. We are so lucky? I have asked me in Life Magazine on July 15.

Life Magazine article on July 22, explain the difference between the materiality and finitude of a machine, a phone or other common consumer goods, and the charm of a non-profit: his infinite being, a product of exchange between the donor and fundraiser, which potentially lasts forever, even the most well known of the beautiful diamond. In two words: no limits!

Two good news

Data: August 21, 2011

With the appointment of presidential Zanin dell'Assif opens a season of innovation for the nonprofit. Wishing you good job, I suggest some ideas for the revival and development of the association. What? Please read the article that I wrote about Life Magazine June 17.

Profit and Non-Profit know how to work very well together, when they want, and in my article published in Life Magazine July 8 will offer a good example. It 'a game that leaves neither winners nor losers: when interest meet the common good, we are all to earn.

Mission and tools ... use them well to capture the donor

Data: July 21, 2011

The mission has to hit the mark. Surprising, be remembered. Must speak of our major projects. Needless to waste time on descriptions articulated in themselves, it takes direct messages, loads of passion. Some examples? In the May 13 I wrote about life I offer different, that is to be imitated to avoid.

The nonprofit must budget. If you think so we are condemning the third sector to reduce investment and therefore do not grow. Should question rather than on the tools we use. We are able to evaluate the effectiveness of the paper? We have begun to exploit the enormous potential of digital technology? Life on May 20, questions and reflections of the post of Fundraising Festival.

Two tips for a successful fundraising

Data: April 13, 2011

More investment, more income. When it comes to decide what budget to allocate to this fund raising is proven relationship that you have to think. As I remember in Life Magazine March 11, it is important to evaluate the results of a campaign to raise funds not only in relation to costs incurred, but also to direct and indirect benefits that are obtained.

The satisfaction of the donor is essential for the maintenance of your commitment and motivation towards the good cause of your ONP. Hence the invitation that I made in the article of March 18 of Life Magazine: coinvolgiamolo, we focus on the quality of our services before, during and after the donation.

Donations of Italians: a new search to attend, by tomorrow!

Data: April 6, 2011

Contact Lab and Life Consulting has launched an interesting research on the topic of donations, the online profile of the donor. The questions you want answered is:
What is the identikit of Italian socially responsible?
How will volunteers and donors?
And how you can communicate with them in the right way through the digital channels?

The results and the merits of any results of this research are all and only the Contact Lab, I though I would make an endorsement (.... Endorsements, or "I got your back" you "sponsor") and invited to participate in this research.
Essentially for two reasons: because that contribute to an investigation that will be useful to the entire nonprofit sector, and thus the association you belong to, but because you will receive by participating in a cross-section data concerning its reality.
And all this for free.

If you want to participate click here by tomorrow!
